The Challenge: To transplant the "Foundry" energy of the original Covent Garden location into the highly competitive Hollywood market. As a foundational team member, I was tasked with architecting a community that honored Paul Allen’s vision of multidisciplinary collaboration while scaling the operational infrastructure required for a five-floor luxury asset.
The Stage Philosophy: Architecting the Creative Ecosystem. We moved away from traditional social status to place a radical emphasis on the Creative Class and the supporting industries that fuel them. We didn't just build a clubhouse; we built a birthplace for business ventures and lifelong relationships—an infrastructure where talent and industry infrastructure collided to turn ideas into reality.
Under-30 Activation: I led the Under-30 Committee with a specific mandate: bridge the gap between legacy icons and the emerging creative class. By collaborating with the Programming & Events teams, we created high-yield experiences that made the club an indispensable tool for young creators—sparking the business ventures and relationships that would define the next decade of Hollywood.
Seed: The Mentorship Engine: We launched Seed, a proprietary program designed to facilitate hand-selected introductions between members. By hosting the initial "first dates" of these professional relationships at the club, we moved the value of the space from a passive "hangout" to a high-performance incubator for new ideas.
